As indicated in point 3.1 of the Regulations of the UPC Doctoral the Academic Committee of the doctoral program may require students to complete specific bridging courses. In the case of the PhD program in our department, and if the director and/or thesis advisor deems appropriate, will send to the Commission, through the Associate Director of Academic Affairs, a proposal for specific bridging courses. These additional training courses can be done at the following masters:
The modus operandi to register for the specific bridging courses:
- A formal request is sent to the Associate Director of Academic Affairs of TSC about the course or courses a doctoral student should do and if necessary He will convene the Academic Committee.
- The Associate Director of Academic Affairs of TSC will send to ETSETB or to EETAC a formal request and they authorize the registration of the doctoral student in the course or courses of the MET or MASTEAM master in case of vacancies.
- If ETSETB or EETAC authorize the registration of the doctoral student, the registration must be made through the PhD office of TSC (Beni Vázquez) since TSC is who custodies the records
- The official registration entitles the student the right to be tested and to have an official transcript of the subject.
The cost of registration is the official price of a Masters course, where the cost of the credit depends on the origin of the students (essentially European or non-European).
