Mention of Excellence

The doctoral program of the Department of Signal Theory and Communications has been awarded in October 2011 with the newly created "Mention to Excellence" by the Ministry of Education.

Since 2003 the program had been distinguished by the Quality Label of the Ministry of Education.

This award recognizes the scientific, technical and educational program. It also allows participation in aid programs associated with it.

In recent years, the Quality Label has helped finance:

     * PhD courses taught by internationally renowned scholars,

     * PhD student stays in foreign research centers.
