José A. Salazar Velázquez received the Engineer of Electronics degree from UAM (2000), and the Master of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from the Dresden University of Technology, (2003). Since then is doing his doctoral studies in field Software Defined Radio and Resource Management at the Mobile Communications Research Group, in the UPC. During the last six years he has been dealing with Mobile Communication Systems and networks, but his field of expertise lie on the management of resources of the hardware platforms (Digital Signal Processors, Microcontrollers, FPGA’s, etc).where the functionalities of those systems are executed. On the basis of his activities and experiences at the university and the industry is fully interested to play a part in the development of the 4th generation of Mobile Communication Systems.
